Barcode Delivery Shipping Integration
This module extends the Barcode application by allowing users to manage shipping directly from the barcode interface.
Users can easily select a delivery carrier, fetch real-time shipping rates, and apply them to delivery orders without leaving the barcode workflow. This improves efficiency, reduces manual steps, and ensures accurate shipping cost application.
The feature is specifically designed for outgoing delivery orders and integrates seamlessly with Odoo’s delivery methods.

Add shipping directly from the Barcode interface
Fetch real-time shipping rates with one click

User-friendly popup wizard for quick actions
Reduces manual steps in delivery processing workflow
Open the Barcode application.
Click on the Operations button.
Navigate to Delivery Orders.
From the list view, open any delivery order.
Click on the Add Shipping button.
In the wizard:
Select the Delivery Carrier
Click on Get Rate to fetch the shipping cost
Click on Apply
The selected Carrier and Shipping Price will be applied to the corresponding delivery order.
Why is the “Add Shipping” button not visible?
- The button is only available for outgoing delivery orders. It will be hidden for receipts or internal transfers.
Why am I unable to fetch the shipping rate?
- Ensure that:
- A delivery carrier is selected
- The delivery order is linked to a sales order
Does this work without a sales order?
- No.
- Shipping rates are calculated based on the linked sales order, so it is required.
What happens if product quantity is zero in barcode?
- The system will still return a rate based on the sales order, not the barcode-scanned quantity.
Will this update the delivery order automatically?
- Yes.
- After clicking Apply, the carrier and shipping price are applied to the delivery order.
Does it support all delivery carriers?
- Yes, it works with all carriers configured in Odoo that support rate calculation.
