Access FTP/SFTP Syncing
After installing the module, a new menu called FTP/SFTP Syncing appears on the Odoo dashboard. This menu is used to manage server connections, model configurations, and logs.
Configure FTP/SFTP Server
Create a new FTP or SFTP server configuration by entering the server details. Select Upload attachment to server as the store option and click Check Connection to verify connectivity. Once the connection is established, the status will be displayed as connected.
Configure Model Operation
Select the FTP/SFTP server, choose the Odoo model, and define the destination folder path on the server. This configuration determines how and where attachments from Odoo records are uploaded.
Upload Attachments to Server Open any configured Odoo record and select the attachment you want to upload. Based on the model configuration, the attachment is uploaded to the defined folder on the FTP/SFTP server.
All attachment upload activities are recorded in the Logs Details menu. Users can review each operation to track file uploads and identify any issues, ensuring full visibility and traceability of the FTP/SFTP syncing process.
